Parakeets

Parakeets are small parrots with a long tail relative to body length. A pair of parakeets will usually be happier than a parakeet kept alone, which is why these are usually kept in aviaries per couple. If you only keep one bird, then you'll have to provide the social simulation that the animal needs.
